Sunday, March 4 - Second Sunday in Lent

“You will all fall away,” Jesus told them, “for it is written:  “‘I will
strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered,’ but after I have
risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”   (Mark 14: 27-28)

If Jesus strikes the leader, all the people will not know what to do.
They will have a hard time when the leader is gone. And when He’s
raised up, crucified, His followers will scatter like sheep, and they will
deny ever having relations with Jesus. However, Christ will forgive
them if they abandon Him, and He will lead them to Galilee.
